    1: beat the egg and keep it aside.

    2: dust the working surface with flour and roll the puff pastry & cut it in strips about 2 inch thick.

    3: then roll each strip and press down slightly then with the help of your palm and finger tips press the sides.
     
    4: now place the puff pastry on a baking tray, brush each piece with egg and dust the sugar on it and bake.
     
    5: preheat the oven 180c, 350f, gas mark 4 bake it for 10 to 12 minutes or till golden and puffed up.
     
    6: let it cool down and serve.
