ANJEER KA HALWA

Ingredients

 1: anjeer 300g (dry figs washed & soaked in hot water till gets soft)

 2: suji 150g (Semolina)

 3: khoya 250g (ready-made or check the link in the video for homemade khoya with ricotta cheese)

 4: sugar 250g

 5: kewra water 2 tbsp

 6: green cardamom powder 1 tsp

 7: almonds 10 (sliced)

 8: pistachios 15 (sliced)

 9: ghee, oil, or butter 250g

  1. ANJEER KA HALWA

    1: discard the water from the anjeer, place the anjeer in a chopper, and blend till smooth.

    2: heat ghee add suji and fry till gets golden on high flame.

    3: then add sugar and mix well, add anjeer and mix this well too, cook it on low to medium flame till the liquid of the sugar dries.

    4: now add khoya, kewra water, and green cardamom powder and mix well.

    5: add the nuts and mix well (keep little nuts for garnishing).

    6: garnish with remaining nuts & serve hot or warm.
