Anday Aur Besan Ka Halwa

Ingredients

 1: eggs 4

 2: sugar 250g

 3: milk 1/2 kg

 4: food colour 1/4 tsp

 5: ghee 250g (clarified butter)

 6: green cardamom 5 (peeled)

 7: gram flour 250g

 8: kewra water 2 tbsp

 9: almonds 12 (sliced)

 10: pistachio 12 (sliced)

  1. 1: in a bowl add eggs, sugar, milk, and food color and beat till the sugar dissolves.

    2: in a pot melt ghee add green cardamom, and gram flour, and cook on low flame till the changes color and a nice aroma rises.

    3: now turn the flame (off) and add the egg mixture, very very slowly as shown in the video, or else you will have scrambled eggs and not halwa, and keep mixing as you are pouring the egg mixture.

    4: then on the flame and cook on low flame and keep mixing till the mixture starts to leave the pan and gets together.

    5: now add kewra water and mix well.

    6: grease the dish add the halwa and spread it, add almonds and pistachio.

    7: serve warm, hot, or room temperature, and enjoy.
