Aloo Keema Dhaba Style

Ingredients

 

 1: oil 3/4 cup

 2: cinnamon stick 1 piece

 3: black peppercorn 20

 4: green cardamom 3

 5: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 6: onions 2 medium (finely sliced)

 7: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 8: tomatoes 3 large (grind)

 9: salt 2 tsp

10: chicken powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

11: coriander powder 3 tsp

12: turmeric 1 tsp

13: red chilli powder 2 tsp

14: yogurt 1/2 cup

15: mutton mince 1 kg

16: potatoes 1/2 kg (peeled & cut in cubes)

17: garam masala powder 1 tsp

18: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp (heaped)

19: fresh ginger 1 & 1/2 inch piece (Julian cut)

20: bullet green chilli 3 (sliced)

21: boiled eggs 6 (chopped)

22: fresh coriander hand-full

 

Instructions

  1. Aloo Keema Dhaba Style

     1: heat oil add cinnamon stick, black peppercorn, green cardamom, cumin seeds, onions and fry on high flame till gets dark golden.

     2: add ginger & garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes on high flame.

     3: now add tomatoes, salt, chicken powder, coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder mix and cook on high flame till the oil separates.

     4: add yogurt in the curry and cook further till the oil separates.

     5: then add the mince and cook till the mince leaves water.

     6: add potatoes, water 2 cups mix well, wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on medium flame till the potatoes are tender and oil separates.

     7: now add garam masala powder, dry fenugreek leaves, ginger, green chilli mix well and cook till the oil separates completely.

     8: add fresh coriander, boiled eggs mix well.

     9: serve hot with roti, paratha, rice.
