Achari Murgh Chawal Recipe

Ingredients

Green Chilli Stuffing:

 1: bullet green chilli 12 (give cuts)

 2: lemon juice 3 tbsp

 3: chaat masala 2 tbsp

 

 For Chicken Curry:

 1: oil 1/3 cup

 2: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

 3: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 4: tomatoes 3 large (chopped)

 5: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 7: black pepper powder 1 tsp

 8: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 9: achar 2 tbsp

 10: boneless chicken 1 kg (cut in cubes)

 11: bell peppers 3 medium size (cut in small cubes)

 12: fresh coriander 1 bunch (chopped)

 13: rice 1 kg boiled (boil the rice 80% with salt 2 tsp)

 

Instructions

  1.  1: cut the green chilli, mix chaat masala powder, lemon juice and add it tio the creen chlli as showen in the video and keep aside.

     2: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till gets golden.

     3: then add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, achar, water 1 cup mix and cook on medium flame till the water dries and oil comes on surface.

     4: add the chicken and fry on high flame with the masala till changes colour, then add water 1 cup and cook on medium flame till the chicken is tender and water dries.

     5: now add bell pepper, fresh corander mix and cook on high flame for 4 minutes.

     6: then add the stuffed green chilli, boiled rice and cover the lid with a tea towel and place it on a tawa on high flame for 10 minutes and then simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.

     7: serve hot with mint chutney or garlic raita.
