Arvi (Dasheen) Gosht

Ingredients

1: baby lamb 1 kg

2: onions 1 large ( make a paste)

3: tomatoes 2 large (make a paste)

4: arvi (Colocasia) 800 kg (peel wash and add salt 1ts, keep a side)

5: red chili powder 1 ts heaped

6: Turmeric (haldi) 1/2 ts

7: salt 1 1/2 ts

8: cumin seeds (zeera) 1 ts

9: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs

10:mix spices (garam masala powder) 1 ts

11: Fresh coriander (dhania) 1/2 cup

12: green chillies 3

13: oil 1 cup

  1. 1: heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds fry for a minute & add onion paste & ginger, and garlic paste, cook till all the liquid of the onions dries and the oil comes on the surface. high flame.

    2: then add the meat mix it and change the color of the meat to high flame.

    3: once the meat changes color add the Turmeric, salt & red chili powder and mix it well, now add the tomato paste cover, and cook on high flame till the liquid of the tomatoes dries and the oil comes to the surface.

    4: in a pan fry the arvi (Colocasia) till golden brown, and keep aside.

    5: When the tomato's liquid dries then add 1 glass of water cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is cooked completely.

    6: then add the fried arvi (Colocasia) mix it & add 5 cups of water cover & cook for further 10 minutes.

    7: once cooked garnish it with coriander, mix spices & green chilies, and serve hot with naan.
