Chicken Dil Kaleji

Ingredients

  • chicken liver 1/2 kg
  • chicken heart 1/2 kg
  • tomatoes 2 large (grind to paste)
  • onions 2 large (grind to paste)
  • green chillies 5 (slice from the middle)
  • butter 200 g
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • ginger & garlic paste 2 tbs
  • white vinegar 4 tbs
  • lemon juice 3 tbs
  • fenugreek leaves 4 tbs (methi)
  • crushed red chillies 1 1/2 tbs
  • cumin powder 1tbs heeped
  • crushed black pepper  1 tbs
  • turmeric powder 1/2 ts
  • coriander powder 1 tbs heeped
  • salt 1 ts
  • mix spices powder 1 ts (garam masala)

    1.  in a bowl add the liver, heart, ginger & garlic paste, white vinegar, 3 tbs oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed black pepper, crushed red chilies, salt, and turmeric powder and mix it well and cover keep it 1/2 hour aside.
    2. after 1/2 hour heat oil and butter in a pan, add the onion paste, and cook on high flame for 4 to 5 min.
    3. then add the marinated liver and heart to the pan and cook on high flame till all the liquid dries and the oil comes to the surface.
    4. then add the tomato paste and lemon juice wait for a boil and cook it on medium flame until the oil comes on the surface and no liquid remains.
    5. then add the fenugreek leaves, and green chilies, and mix spices, mix it well and cook on high flame for 1 min keep stirring.
    6. serve hot with naan or roti.
