Singaporean Rice (Pakistani Style) Recipe

Ingredients

  • chicken breast 1/2 kg (julienne cut)
  • tomato ketchup (Heinz) 1 cup
  • oil 4 tbs
  • red chili powder 1/2 ts
  • salt 1/2 ts
  • crushed black pepper 1 ts
  • crushed red chilies 1 ts
  • dark soya sauce 3tbs
  • sugar 2 tbs
  • ginger & garlic paste 1tbs

 

Rice Ingredients:

  • rice 2cups (fully boiled with 1 tbs salt)
  • noodles 1 cup (fully boiled with 1 tbs salt)
  • oil 3 tbs
  • eggs 3 (whisk and add 1/4 ts salt & black pepper make scrambled eggs and keep aside)
  • ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs
  • dark soya sauce 3tbs
  • salt 1 ts
  • crushed black pepper 1 1/2 ts
  • red bell pepper 1 small (julienne cut)
  • cabbage 1 cup (finely cut)
  • carrot 1/2 cup (grated)
  • fresh ginger 1 inch (julienne cut)
  • Bullet green chillies 4 (sliced)
  • spring onions 1/2 cup

  1. Singaporian Rice (Pakistani Style) Recipe
    1.  heat a ts of oil and add the whisked eggs with salt, and black pepper cook it well, and keep aside.
    2. heat oil in a pan and fry the ginger & garlic paste for 2 minutes on high flame, then add the chicken and cook it completely on high flame.
    3. when the chicken is cooked add the tomato ketchup, dark soya sauce, sugar, salt, crushed black pepper, red chili powder, crushed red chilies, and 1 cup of water mix well, cover, and cook for 4 minutes on medium flame, and the gravy is ready.

     

    Rice Recipe:

    1. heat oil in a pan add the fresh ginger, ginger & garlic paste, and fry it for 2 minutes on high flame.
    2. keep the flame high & add the cabbage, carrots, crushed black pepper, salt, and dark soya sauce mix then add the spring onions, green chilies, and bell pepper mix it, and saute for 1 1/2 minutes.
    3. then add in the boiled noodles mix it well, add the cooked eggs, and the boiled rice, and mix it well.

     

    For Serving:

    1. first, serve the rice on a plate and then top it with the chicken gravy and serve hot, enjoy!
