MALAI GOSHT

Ingredients

1: mutton 1 kg (chops)

 2: onions 2 large (grinned)

 3: cream 1 cup

 4: yogurt 1 cup

 5: papaya paste 2 tsp

 6: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 7: salt 2 tsp

 8: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 9: coriander powder 1 tsp

 10: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 11: black pepper powder 1 tsp

 12: green chilli 3

 13: fresh coriander 1/2 cup

 14: coal 1 piece

 15: ghee or oil 1 cup

 16: garam masala powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1: in a bowl add meat, papaya paste, salt, cream mix well, cover and keep it in the fridge for 1 & 1/2 hour.

     2: heat ghee add the marinated meat mix, wait for a boil on high flame, cover and cook on low to medium flame, till the   meat is tender and oil comes on surface.

     3: heat ghee add the onions, ginger & garlic paste fry on high flame till, changes colour.

     4: then add yogurt, garam masala, red chilli, coriander powder, cumin seeds mix and cook on high flame, till the oil   comes on surface.

     5: now add the boiled meat, mix cover and simmer it on low flame for 10 minutes.

     6: heat the coal.

     7: then add green chilli, coriander mix, place the coal as shown in the video, cover and wait till the smoke settles.

     8: serve hot with naan, roti.
