Keema Masoor Dal Recipe

Ingredients

 For Marination:

 1: mutton mince 1 kg

 2: yogurt 1 cup

 3: biryani masala 2 tbsp

 4: lemon juice 2 tbsp

 5: salt 1 tsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 7: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 8: turmeric 1 tsp

 9: cumin powder 2 tsp

10: corainder powder 3 tsp

11: green chilli 3 (chopped)

12: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp (check the Link)

13: tomatoes 3 medium (chopped)

14: brown lentil 1 cup (washed & soaked for 4 hour)

 

 For Cooking:

 1: oil 3/4 cup

 2: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

 3: green chilli 4

 4: fresh coriander handful

Instructions

  1.  1: in a bowl add all ingredients under marination, mix well and keep aside for 1 hours.

     2: in a pressure cooker heat oil add onion and fry till gets golden. (can be cooked in a plan pot as well but use 4 cups of water)

     3: now add the marinated mince mix and cook on high flame for 10 minutes.

     4: now add 2 cups of water mix and lock the pressure cooker, on high flame wait for the weight to move. once it moves time the cooking 15 minutes.

     5: once cooked for 15 minutes release the steam and cook further till the oil separates, on high flame.

     6: then add green chilli, fresh coriander mix well.

     7: serve hot with boiled rice, paratha, roti.
