POTATOE FINGERS

Ingredients

1: semolina 1 cup

2: potatoes 400g (Boiled & mashed)

3: fresh coriander 2 tbsp

4: green chilli 5 to 6 (finely chopped)

5: salt 1 tsp 

6: Oil 1 tsp

7: chaat masala powder 1 tsp

8: crushed red chilli 1 tsp

9: water 3/4 cup

10:oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1: pour 3/4 cup water in a pot heat it, add oil to it, when it starts boiling turn off flame and add 1 cup semolina to the water, over it for 2 to 3 minutes, the semolina will puff up. 

    2: put the puffed semolina in a big mixing bowl & press to make soft.

    3: add the grated potatoes, salt, green chilli, crushed red chilli, coriander leaves, mix all ingredients well.  

    4: heat oil.

    5: once dough is ready, take little oil in a small bowl grease your hands with it and mix the dough. 

    6: now take small amount of dough and make a long log shape.

    7: place the mixture to fry.

    8:keep the flame medium to high and fry them. 

    9:when fried and ready, take out the fried fingers.

    10:place it on paper towel. 

    11:sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
