LOBIA GOSHT

Ingredients

1: mutton 1 kg

 2: lobia 2 cups or (2 can each weight 400g)

 3: onions 2 medium (grind to a paste)

 4: salt 1 tsp

 5: cumin seeds dry roasted & crushed 1 tbsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 7: crushed black pepper 2 tsp

 8: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 9: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 10: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 11: bullet green chilli 3

 12: yogurt 1 cup

 13: tomatoes 6 medium (grind to a paste)

 14: oil 1 cup

 15: fresh coriander handful 

Instructions

  1. LOBIA GOSHT

     1: soak the lobia in water for 8 hours, then boil it in water till tender or u can use canned lobia.

     2: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic paste, fry till changes colour, on high flame.

     3: then cumin, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, yogurt mix well and cook on high flame till the oil comes   on the surface.

     4: now add meat, tomatoes and cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface.

     5: then add water 2 glass mix, cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender and oil comes on surface.

     6: add the boiled lobia mix, simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, on low to medium flame.

     7: now add garam masala powder, coriander, green chilli, simmer on low flame for 6 minutes.

     8: serve hot with roti or boiled rice.
