Sarson Ka Saag Gosht

Ingredients

1: mustard leaves 2 kg (only leaves cut & wash)

 2: spinach 1 kg (only leaves cut & wash)

 3: fenugreek leaves 1/2 kg (only leaves cut & wash)

 4: garlic cloves 10

 5: green chilli 6

 6: ghee 3/4 cup

 7: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

 8: button red chilli 13

 9: bullet green chilli 3 (chopped)

10: ginger 1 & 1/2 inch (Julian cut)

11: garlic 1 tbsp (crushed heaped)

12: mutton 1 kg

13: yogurt 1 cup

14: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

15: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

16: red chilli powder 2 tsp

17: turmeric 1/2 tsp

18: cornmeal 3 tbsp

19: milk 1 cup

Instructions

  1.  1: in a large pot add mustard leaves, spinach, fenugreek leaves, garlic, green chilli water 2 glasses of and boil, then grind the leaves with the water they were boiled in 1 cup and the rest water discard it.

    2: heat ghee add onions, button red chilli, green chilli, ginger and fry on high flame till the onions get soft.

     3: then add garlic and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on high flame.

     4: add meat, yogurt mix and cook well on high flame till the meat changes colour.

     5: now add ginger & garlic paste, salt, red chilli, turmeric, water 1 & 1/2 glass mix, cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender and ghee separates.

     6: then add the green vegetables mixture mix add cornmeal, milk mix and cook on high flame till the ghee separates.

     7: garnish it with fresh ginger, butter.

     8: serve hot with roti, cornmeal roti.
