Potato Gateau Italian Recipe
Ingredients

1: potatoes 1kg (peeled, boiled, mashed)
2: carrots 200g (peeled, boiled, mashed)
3: egg 1
4: salt 1 tsp
5: crushed black pepper 1 tsp
6: crushed red chilli 1 tsp
7: Cheddar cheese 1/3 cup
8: mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup
9: oil 2 tbsp
10: garlic 1 & 1/2 tsp (crushed)
11: onion 1 (finely chopped)
12: bell pepper 1 large (deseeded & cut in cubes)
13: tomatoes 3 large (deseeded & cut in cubes)
14: crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
15: salt 1/2 tsp
16: parsley (or) coriander leaves 2 tsp
17: mortadella 1 cup (sliced)
18: dry bread crumbs 1 cup
19: oil 1 tbsp
Instructions

NOTE: Preheat Oven 200c, 400f, 600 Gas Mark.
1: boil the potatoes and carrots and mash them.
2: add egg, salt, pepper, red chilli, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese mix well till combined and keep aside.
3: in a frying pan heat oil add garlic, onion and fry till gets soft.
4: then add bell pepper, tomatoes, salt, black pepper and on low to medium flame cook for 10 to 12 minutes till gets soft.
5: now add mortadella mix.
6: grease a heat proof dish, dry bread crumbs to cover the base add half of the potato's mixture spread well top it with the mortadella and veg mixture, then the remaining potato's mixture, sprinkle the dry bread crumbs, top it with oil and place it in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
7: serve hot with Salad and enjoy.
