Dal Maharani Recipe 2

Ingredients

 Chale aaj banate hai aik special dal ki recipe jis ka naam hai Dal MaharaniDal Recipe in Urdu - Hindi By Chef Faiza Zarif  ( Cook With Faiza ) 

 

 1: oil 1/4 cup

 2: butter 50g

 3: ginger 1 tbsp (crushed)

 4: garlic 1 tbsp (crushed)

 5: green chilli 2 (chopped)

 6: tomato 1 large (sliced)

 7: coriander seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)(heaped)

 8: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)(heaped)

 9: turmeric 1/2 tsp

10: salt 1 tsp

11: crushed black pepper 1 tsp

12: crushed red chilli 1 tsp

13: red chilli powder 1 tsp

14: water 1/2 cup

15: moong dal 250g & masoor dal 250g (boiled till tender & keep the water about 1 cup)

16: cream 3 tbsp

17: garam masala powder 1 tsp

18: fresh coriander 3 tbsp

 

 

 For Tempering:

 1: oil 4 tbsp

 2: butter 50g

 3: garlic cloves 3 (sliced)

 4: ginger 1 inch (Julian cut)

 5: green chilli 1 (chopped)

Instructions

  1. 1: heat oil and butter and add ginger, garlic, green chilli and fry for 1 minute.

     2: now add tomato, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, salt, crushed black pepper, crushed red chilli, red chilli powder, water mix and cook on medium flame till the masala is made.

     3: add the boiled dal mix and add the water in which the dal was boiled mix. cook on medium flame for 5 minutes  add cream and then keep aside.

     4: for tempering: heat oil and butter add ginger, garlic, green chilli and fry on high flame till gets golden.

     5: transfer the mixture on the cooked dal mix well.

     6: then add garam masala powder, coriander mix and simmer on low flame for a few minutes.

     7: serve hot with RiceParatha, Roti, Naan.
