Kali Mirch Chicken Karahi 2

Ingredients

 

 1: oil 1 cup

 2: chicken 1 kg

 3: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 4: tomatoes 1/2 kg (grind)

 5: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 6: crushed black pepper 1 tbsp

 7: crushed red chilli 1 tsp

 8: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted and crushed)

 9: yogurt 1 cup

10: cream 100ml

11: coals to smoke the karahi

12: ginger 1 & 1/2 inch (Julian cut)

13: bullet green chilli 5

14: lime 1 (sliced)

15: fresh coriander hand-full

 

Instructions

  1. Kali Mirch Chicken Karahi 2

     1: heat oil add the chicken, salt and fry till changes colour on high flame.

     2: now add tomatoes, ginger & garlic paste, crushed black pepper, crushed red chilli, cumin mix well and cook on high flame for 4 minutes.

     3: add yogurt mix wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on low medium flame till the oil separates.

     4: now add cream and cook on high flame till the oil separates.

     5: then smoke the karahi with hot coals pour oil on the coals as shown in the video.

     6: add ginger, green chilli, lime, fresh coriander mix well.

     7: serve hot with roti, naan.
