1: oil 1/3 cup
2: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (heaped)
3: asafoetida 1/2 tsp
4: garlic paste 1 tbsp (heaped)
5: green chilli 4 (chopped)
6: onion 1 large (finely chopped)
7: potatoes 1 kg (after peeling and cut in cubes)
8: turmeric 1/2 tsp
9: coriander powder 2 tsp
10: red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)
11: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
12: tomatoes 2 medium (chopped)
13: bellpeppers 500g (deseeded & cut in cubes)
14: fresh coriander hand full
15: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
16: green chilli 4
Instructions

1: heat oil add cumin seeds, asafoetida, garlic, green chilli, onions and fry on high flame till gets golden.
2: then add the potatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, red chill powder, salt mix well on high flame.
3: then add water 3/4 cup mix and cook on low flame for 7 to 8 minutes so that potatoes get soft.
4: add tomatoes, bell peppers mix well and cook on low flame for 7 minutes.
5: add fresh coriander, garam masala powder, green chilli mix well.
6: serve hot with roti, paratha, puri.
