Tandoori Chicken Rice Recipe

Ingredients

 For Chicken Marination:

 1: boneless chicken 1 kg (cut in cubes)

 2: salt 1 tsp

 3: tandoori masala 3 tbsp

 4: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 5: thick yogurt 4 tbsp

 6: oil 3 tbsp

 

 Other Ingredients:

 1: oil 3 tbsp

 2: coals to smoke the chicken

 

 For Make The Rice:

 1: oil 1/3 cup

 2: onions 2 medium (finely chopped)

 3: ginger 3 inch (Julian cut)

 4: green chilli 8 (finely chopped)

 5: lemon juice 4 tbsp

 6: chicken powder 2 tbsp

 7: crushed black pepper 1 & 1/2 tbsp (or) crushed red chilli

 8: salt 1 tsp (heaped)

 9: rice 1 kg (boiled with salt 1 tbsp)

10: sweet corn 1 & 1/2 cup

11: frozen peas 1 & 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. 1: in a bowl add all ingredients under chicken marination, mix well and keep aside for 1 & 1/2 hour.

     2: heat oil 3 tbsp and add the chicken and cook on medium flame till tender. (smoke the chicken as shown in the video)

     3: heat oil add onions, ginger and fry on high flame till gets soft.

     4: then add green chilli, lemon juice, chicken powder, crushed black pepper, salt mix well.

     5: now sweet corn, peas, boiled rice mix well and simmer on low flame for 8 minutes.

     6: for serving place the rice on a plater and then the chicken sprinkle a little spring onion.

     7: serve hot and enjoy.
