Aloo Matar Ki Sabzi

Ingredients

1: oil 1/3 cup

 2: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp

 3: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

 4: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 5: green chilli 4 (chopped)

 6: tomatoes 3 lrage (finely chopped)

 7: asafoetida 1/4 tsp

 8: corainder powder 1 tbsp (heaped)

 9: turmeric 1/2 tsp

10: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

11: salt 1& 1/2 tsp

12: potatoes 1 kg (peeled & cut in cubes)

13: frozen pease 2 cup

14: fresh coriander 4 tbsp

15: garam masala powder 1 tsp

16: dry fenugreek leaves 2 tsp

17: bullet green chilli 3

Instructions

  1.  1: heat oil add cumin, onion and fry till the onion gets golden on high flame.

     2: then add ginger & garlic paste, green chilli and fry for 3 minutes.

     3: now add tomatoes, asafoetida, corainder powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, water 1/2 cup mix and cook on medum flame till the tomatoes reduce and oil seperates.

     4: add potatoes, water 1 cup mix, cover 7 cook on medum flame till the potatoes get tender and water dries.

     5: now add frozen peas, water 1/2 cup cover and cook on low to medium for 5 minutes.

     6: add fresh corainder, garam masala, dry fenugreek leaves, green chilli mix.

     7: serve hot with roti, paratha.
