Paneer Angara Recipe

Ingredients

 

 1: oil 5 tbsp

 2: green cardamom 9

 3: cloves 1/2 tsp

 4: black peppercorn 1 tsp

 5: cinnamon stick 2 pieces

 6: onions 2 large

 7: green chilli 3

 8: garlic 12 cloves

 9: ginger 2 & 1/2 inch piece

 10: cashew nuts 25

 11: tomatoes 6

 12: salt 1/2 tsp

 13: bay leaves 2

 14: oil 1/3 cup

 15: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 16: ginger & garlic paste 2 tsp

 17: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 18: red chilli powder 1tsp

 19: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 20: cumin powder 1 tbsp

 21: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 22: paneer 500g (cut in cubes)

 23: dry fenugreek leaves 2 tsp

 24: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

 25: cream 1/3 cup

 26: bell pepper 1 medium (cut in cubes)

 27: onion 1 medium (separate the layers)

 28: fresh coriander 4 tbsp

 29: coals to smoke the curry

 

Instructions

  1. Paneer Angara Recipe

     1: heat oil add green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, onions and fry on high flame till gets soft.

     2: then add green chilli, garlic, ginger, cashew nuts and fry for further 5 minutes.

     3: now add tomatoes, salt mix and cook till the tomatoes soften, keep aside to cool completely and then grind to a paste.

     4: heat oil add bay leaves, cumin seeds, ginger & garlic paste and fry it add the grind paste, salt, red chlli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, water 1 cup mix and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on surface.

     5: add paneer, dry fenugreek leaves, garam masala powder, cream mix and cook on low flame for a few minutes.

     6: then add bell pepper, onions, fresh coriander mix well.

     7: smoke the curry as shown in the video.

     8: serve hot with naan, roti.
