DHABA MASALA CHICKEN

Ingredients

 

 

 1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 pieces)

 2: onions 1 large (grind)

 3: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 4: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 5: salt 1 tsp

 6: 3 medium tomatoes (grind)

 7: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 8: fresh ginger 1 inch (jullien cut)

 9: green chilli 2 (sliced)

 10: oil 1/2 cup

 11: fresh coriander handful

 

 

 Special Masala:

 1: dry whole red chilli 9

 2: coriander seeds 2 tbsp

 3: cumin seeds 1 tbsp

 4: bay leaves 1

 5: black pepper corn 1/2 tsp

 6: fenugreek seeds 2 pinch

 7: mace 1 whole (small)

 

  

Instructions

  1. DHABA MASALA CHICKEN

     1: in a frying pan add the whole spices and dry roast them.

     2: then grind it to a powder and keep aside.

     3: in a pan add water 1 glass, onion, ginger & garlic paste, salt, turmeric, chicken mix well, wait for a boil on high flame   and then cook on medium flame for 8 minutes.

     4: then add the grinned powder, mix and cover and cook it on medium flame till the chicken is tender and water all most dried.

     5: heat oil in a pan add the grind tomatoes and cook it till the oil comes on the surface.

     6: now add the tomatoes mixture in the chicken and cook it till the oil comes on the surface.

     7: add ginger, garam masala powder, green chilli, fresh coriander and simmer it on low flame for 5 minutes.

     8: serve hot with roti, naan.
