KOYLA CHICKEN RECIPE

Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg

2: tomatoes 6 medium (grind)

3: green chillis 6 (cut in half)

4: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

5: cream 1/2 cup

6: lemon juice 1 tbsp

7: salt 1 tsp

8: red chilli powder 1 tsp

9: garam masala powder 1 tsp

10:coal to smoke the curry

11:oil 1/2 cup

12:fresh coriander hand-full

 

Instructions

  1. 1: marinate the chicken with ginger & garlic paste, garam masala, red chilli, salt mix well cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.

    2: heat oil add the chicken and fry for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame.

    3: add the green chilli and fry for another minute or so and then add the tomatoes, water 1/2 cup mix and wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on low to medium till the oil comes on the surface.

    4: then add lemon juice mix and add the cream, coriander, green chilli mix and simmer on low flame for a few minutes.

    5: heat coals and smoke the curry.

    6: serve hot with roti, naan.
