ZAFRANI CHICKEN RECIPE

Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Ingredients

 1: chicken 1 kg (cut into 12 to 16 pieces)

 2: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 3: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 4: salt 1 tsp

 5: coriander powder 1 tbsp

 6: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 7: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 8: milk 1/2 cup, saffron 1/2 tsp (mix it)

 9: almonds 4 (sliced)

 10: almonds 1/2 cup, milk 4 tbsp (grind)

 11: yogurt 1/2 cup

 12: onion 2 large (grind)

 13: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 14: cream 1/2 cup

 15: oil 1/2 cup

  1.  1: heat oil add onions and fry on high flame till changes clor.

     2: add ginger & garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes on high flame.

     3: then add sat, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, cumin dry rosted, water 1/2 cup, cook on high flame till   the oil comes on surface.

     4: add chicken and fry to change color, on high flame.

     5: now add yogurt mix, cover and cook on low medum flame till the chicken is cooked and oil comes on surface.

     6: add grinded almond paste, garam masala powder and cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface.

     7: then add the milk and zaffron mixture, cream mix and simmer on low flame for 4 minutes.

     8: garnish the dish with almonds sliced.

     9: serve hot with NaanRoti or Shermal.
