LOBIA MASALA – Dhaba Style

Ingredients

 1: black eye beans 250g (soaked in water for 7 hours & boil till tender)

 2: oil 1/2 cup

 3: onions 1 large (chopped)

 4: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 5: tomato puree 1/2 cup

 6: salt 1 tsp

 7: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 8: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 9: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 10:coriander powder 1 tsp

 11:dry fenugreek leaves 2 tbsp

 12:garam masala powder 1 tsp

 13:green chilli 3 (sliced) 

Instructions

  1. 1: heat oil add cumin, onion, ginger & garlic fry on high flame till gets golden.

     2: then add salt, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, tomato puree, water 1 cup mix well, cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface.

     3: add the boiled beans, water 2 cups mix wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame, till the oil comes on surface.

     4: now add garam masala powder, green chilli, dry fenugreek leaves mix and simmer for 10 minutes on low flame.

     5: serve hot with RotiParatha or Boiled Rice
