BROWN SUGAR (Homemade)

Ingredients

 Light Brown Sugar:

 1: 1 Cup white sugar

 2: 1 & 1/2 tsp molasses or treacle

 

 Dark Brown Sugar:

 1: 1 Cup white sugar

 2: 2 & 1/2 tsp molasses or treacle

 

 For Storing:

 1: air tight container

 2: 1 bread slice (cut in 2 pieces) 

Instructions

  1.  1: to make the brown sugar, mix sugar with molasses or treacle very well as shown in the video.

     2: Store in an air-tight container for months, because of the moisture, brown sugar has a tendency to clump together, to prevent this add a slice of white bread in the container and that will keep the sugar dry and fine.

     3: now you can use these sugars n the recipes required.
