Ingredients

For Marination:

 1: chicken thigh boneless 1kg (cut in strips)

 2: salt  1/2 tsp

 3: black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)

 4: soy sauce 4 tbsp

 5: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 6: egg 1

 7: corn starch 1/2 cup

 

For Sauce:

 1: tomato ketchup 2 cups

 2: sugar 4 tsp

 3: tomato puree 1/2 cup

 4: water 1 cup

 5: soya sauce 2 tbsp

 6: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 7: crushed red chilli 2 tsp

 8: red chilli sauce or hot sauce 2 tbsp

 9: sesame seeds 1 tsp

 10: bell pepper 1 medium (deseeded & cut in strips)

 11: spring onions 3 (cut into 1-inch pieces)

 12: salt 1/4 tsp

 13: oil 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1: in bowl add chicken, corn flour, egg, soy sauce, black pepper crushed, and salt mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

     2: heat oil and fry the chicken till tender and golden, then keep on a paper towel.

     3: heat oil 4 tbsp add ginger & garlic sauté for 1 minute on high flame.

     4: now add bell pepper, and spring onion and sauté for 2 minutes on high flame.

     5: then add ketchup, tomato puree, red chili sauce, soya sauce, crushed red chili, sugar, water, and salt mix and wait for a boil on high flame, when gets slightly thick add the fried chicken mix well and cook on high flame for 2 minutes.

     6: sprinkle sesame seeds.

     7: Served hot with Chinese rice.
