MONGOLIAN BEEF (Chinese) RECIPE

Ingredients

For Marination:

 1: beef 1 kg (tenderloin thinly sliced)

 2: water 2 tbsp

 3: soya sauce 1 tbsp

 4: vinegar 1 tbsp

 5: corn flour 3 tbsp

 6: salt 1/4 tsp

 

 For Sauce:

 1: brown sugar 1/3 cup

 2: water 1 cup

 3: hoisin sauce 2 tbsp

 4: oyster sauce 1 tbsp

 5: soya sauce 1/3 cup

 6: crushed red chilli 1 & 1/2 tsp

 7: salt 1/4 tsp

 

 For Stir Fry:

 1: Broccoli 2 cups (steamed or heat water and place the broccoli in hot water cover for 5 minutes)

 2: spring onions 4 (sliced)

 3: ginger 1/2 tbsp (crushed)

 4: garlic 2 tbsp (crushed)

 5: sesame oil 2 tbsp

 6: corn oil 2 tbsp

 7: corn flour 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1: marinate the beef with the all ingredients, under marination, mix well and keep aside for 30 minutes.

     2: in a bowl add all ingredients under sauce, mix well and keep aside.

     3: now heat oil 1/3 cup and add the beef pieces and fry till gets tender and has a dark color on both sides, on medium       flame, once fried keep aside.

     4: heat corn oil, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and saute it you can smell the aroma, on medium flame.

     5: then add the broccoli, spring onions and saute for a minute or so, on medium flame.

     6: now add the beef mix well and the sauce, corn flour mixed with water, cook till gets thick, on medium flame.

     7: sprinkle some sesams seeds.

     8: serve hot with chinese rice.
