Ingredients

To Make Powder Masala:

 1: whole coriander 2 tbsp

 2: black peppercorn 1/2 tsp

 3: fresh ginger 3 inch

 4: water 4 to 5 tbsp

 

For Curry:

 1: ghee or oil 1 cup

 2: onion 2 large (grind)

 3: garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 4: mutton 1 kg

 5: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 6: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 7: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 8: yogurt 1 & 1/2 cup

 9: water 3 & 1/2 glass

 10: cream 1/2 cup

 11: green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

 12: mace 1/2 tsp

 13: cloves powder 1/4 tsp

 14: kewra water 2 tbsp (mixed with) saffron few strands

 15: 5 to 10 almonds (sliced & fried)

Instructions

  1. 1: in a blender grind the coriander seeds, black peppercorn, and ginger to a paste.

    2: heat ghee add ground onion, and garlic paste mix, and fry on high flame till changes color.

    3: add meat, salt, turmeric, and red chili powder mix well, and then add yogurt mix once again and cook on high flame for 10 minutes.

    4: now add the grind masala mix and cook on high flame for 7 minutes.

    5: Add 3 & 1/2 glasses of water, wait for a boil on high flame, and then cover and cook on low to medium till the meat is tender.

    6: now add cream, green cardamom powder, clove powder, mace powder, kewra water, and saffron mix, mix well cover, and simmer for 15 minutes till gets thick.

    7: fry the almonds.

    8: garnish it with fried almonds.

    9: Served hot with naanshermal.
