Spicy Potato Fry
Ingredients
To Make a Masala:
1: chana dal 1 & 1/2 tbsp
2: urad dal 1 & 1/2 tbsp
3: black peppercorn 1 tsp
4: coriander seeds 1 & 1/2 tbsp
5: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tbsp
For Potato:
1: potatoes 1 kg (cubed & boiled)
2: oil 4 tbsp
3: green chilli 5 (chopped)
4: garlic 12 cloves (crushed)
5: onion 1 large (finely chopped)
6: red chilli powder 1 tsp
7: turmeric 1/2 tsp
8: salt 1 tsp
9: water 5 tbsp
10: garam masala 1 tsp
11: fresh coriander 3 tbsp
Instructions

1: in a frying pan add chana dal, and urad dal and dry roast it till gets a little brown on medium flame.
2: now add black peppercorn, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds and roast till they change colour, once roasted leave to cool and then grind to a powder.
3: heat oil add green chilli, garlic and saute till changes colour on medium flame.
4: then add onion and cook till gets soft on medium flame.
5: now add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, and water mix and cook on low flame till the water dries.
6: add the boiled potatoes mix well and then add the ground masala powder 3 tbsp, garam masala powder mix and simmer the potatoes on low flame for 7 minutes.
7: Garnish it with a few green chilli, and coriander powder.
8: Served hot with roti, or paratha.
