CURRY MASALA

Difficulty: Beginner
Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Ingredients

1: Tomatoes 3 large (or) one can of tomato 400g

2: Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp (heaped)

3: Coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tbsp

4: Garam masala powder 1 tsp

5: Red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)

6: Turmeric 1/2 tsp

7: Salt 1 tsp

8: Cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

9: Green chilli 8 (or) (to your taste)

10: Onions 2 large

Instructions

  1. 1: in a blender add all the ingredients under quick curry, grind to a smooth paste. (At this stage you can store Quick Curry Masala in a zip lock bag or plastic container and use it when you require meat or chicken), & can be stored in the freezer for 1 to 2 months
