TIKKA CHOPS

Ingredients

1: mutton chops 1 kg

 2: thick Greek yogurt 1 cup

 3: papaya past 2 tbsp

 4: fried onions 1 cup

 5: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 6: salt 1/2 tsp

 7: lemon juice 4 tbsp

 8: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 9: chicken tikka masala powder 3 tbsp

 10: oil 1/2 cup

 11: dry fenugreek leaves 2 tbsp or fresh coriander handful

 12: coal to smoke the curry

Instructions

  1. TIKKA CHOPS

    1: in a bowl add all ingredients, mix well, and leave for 1 hour except (oil, fenugreek leaves & coal).

    2: now add the marinated meat in a pot with oil, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender and oil comes on the surface (you can add water if the meat is still hard).

    3: heat the coal and smoke the curry covered.

    4: now add fenugreek leaves or fresh coriander mix.

    5: Served hot with naan.
