CHANA DAL & SHIMLA MIRCH

Ingredients

 

 

 1: split chickpeas 400g (soaked for 2 hours boil in water till half cooked)

 2: bell peppers 3 small (any colour cut in cubes)

 3: onions 2 large (sliced)

 4: yogurt 1 cup

 5: tomatoes 2 medium (sliced)

 6: garlic paste 1tbs

 7: red chilli powder 1ts

 8: turmeric 1/2ts

 9: salt 1ts

 10:garam masala powder 1ts

 11:green chilli 3 (sliced)

 12:oil 1/2cup

 13:fresh coriander handful

 14:water 1&1/2 glass

 

 

Instructions

  1. CHANA DAL & SHIMLA MIRCH

     

     

     1: heat oil fry onions till golden, take a little out for garnishing.

     2: then add tomatoes, garlic, turmeric, red chilli, salt, water 1/2 cup cook on high flame till the tomatoes are cooked and      oil comes on surface.

     3: now add the yogurt cook till oil comes on surface on high flame.

     4: add the half cooked dal, water 1 glass mix cook on low to medium flame till cooked completely.

     5: now add the bell peppers, garam masala cover and simmer to 2 to 3 minutes on low to medium.

     6: add fresh coriander, green chilli mix.

     7: garnish it with fried onions serve hot.
