KHATAY ALOO

Ingredients

 1: baby potatoes 1 & 1/2 kg (peeled & boiled)

 2: tamarind pulp 1 cup

 3: jaggery 1/2 cup

 4: salt 1 tsp

 5: ginger powder 1 tsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 7: coriander seeds 2 tsp (crushed)

 8: cumin seeds 2 tsp (crushed)

 9: green chilli 2 (finely chopped)

 10: fresh coriander 3 tbsp

 11: oil 1/3 cup

 12: water 1 cup

  1. KHATAY ALOO

    1: heat oil add the boiled potatoes, salt, red chilli powder, coriander crushed, cumin crushed mix, and fry for 2 to 3  minutes, on low to medium flame.

    2: add tamarind pulp, jaggery, ginger powder, and water mix wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on medium flame till the water dries.

    3: now add fresh coriander and green chili.

    4: serve with Puri Paratha as a chat or starter.
