SPICY PASTA PIE

Ingredients

1: rigatoni paste 500g (boiled in hot water for 12 minutes with salt 2 tbsp, oil 3 tbsp and drained)

 2: beef fine mince 500g

 3: crushed tomato cans 2 (each 425g)

 4: garlic crushed 1 tbsp

 5: oregano 1 tbsp

 6: crushed red chilli 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 7: salt 1 tsp

 8: sugar 2 tbsp

 9: crushed black pepper 2 tsp

 10: Cheddar cheese 1 & 1/2 cups (grated)

 11: mozzarella cheese 1 cup (grated)

 12: parmesan cheese 1 cup (finely grated)

 13: cake tin 9 inch springform (greased well)

 14 : oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. SPICY PASTA PIE

     Preheat Oven Gas Mark 6, 200c, 400f.

     1: in a bowl add paste and sprinkle the parmesan cheese mix well.

     2: Place the boiled pasta in the greased cake tin as shown in the video.

     3: heat oil add garlic and fry for one minute on high flame.

     4: then add the mince and cook it till changes color and no liquid is remaining, on high flame.

     5: then strain the mince to remove extra oil, and place the mince back in the pan.

     6: now add oregano, sugar, crushed black pepper, crushed red chili, salt, and crushed tomato mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes on low to medium flame till get thick.

     7: add the mince to the paste and bash the tin on the surface and the mince will go in the pasta holes, as shown in the video.

     8: now preheat the oven and bake it for 15 minutes.

     9: then top it with cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese and bake it again the the oven for 15 minutes.

     10: leave to cool for 15 minutes.

     11: Served hot with garlic bread.
