ALOO METHI

Ingredients

 1: Fresh Fenugreek Leaves 5 Bunches (cut it finely)

 2: Fresh Coriander 3 Bunches (can also use Spinach)

 3: Onions 2 (medium size)

 4: Tomatoes 2 (medium size)

 5: Potatoes 7-8 (cut in square shape & soaked in water)

 6: Oil-less then 1/2 cup

 7: Water 1 Glass

 8: Milk 1 Glass

 9: Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp (heaped)

 10: Salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 11: Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp

 12: Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp

 13: Garam Masala 1 tsp

 14: Green Chillies 3-4

  1. ALOO METHI

    1: In a pressure cooker pan, add & heat oil then add onions till turn soggy or transparent.

    2: Then add all the spices, tomatoes & add little water to make gravy.

    3: After a few minutes when oil comes on the surface, add fenugreek leaves & coriander leaves.

    4: Then mix well & cook on medium flame without the lid.

    5: When the water dries and oil comes to the surface add potatoes and mix well.

    6: Then add milk & water mix and cover with pressure cooker lid.

    7: When pressure is made & whistle starts moving, give 5 minutes and remove the lid.

    8: Now reduce the water for 2 minutes & add green chilies with garam masala for garnishing.

    9: Then for 1 minute cook on low flame.

    10: Serve & enjoy.
