DHABA CHANA DAL

Ingredients

 1: split chickpeas 250g (washed & soaked overnight)

 2: spinach 2 bunch (finely chopped only leaves)

 3: salt 1ts

 4: red chilli powder 1ts

 5: turmeric 1/2ts

 For Masala:

 1: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

 2: tomatoes 2 large (finely sliced)

 3: Bullet green chilli 3 (sliced)

 4: garlic 1ts

 5: garam masala powder 1/2ts

 6: crushed red chilli 1/2ts

 7: ghee 1/2 cup of oil

  1. 1: in a pan add chickpeas, spinach, salt, red chilli, turmeric, water 5 cups, wait for a boil on high flame then lower the flame to medium cover and cook till the chickpeas are tender.

    2: in a pan heat ghee add onion and fry till gets golden on high flame.

    3: then add tomatoes, crushed red chilli, garam masala, and garlic cook on low to medium flame till the tomatoes are softened & ghee comes to surface.

    4: now add green chilli mix and add this to the cooked chickpeas mix well, cover and simmer on low flame for 2  minutes.

    5: Served hot with naan or roti.
