CHOCOLATE BURFI

Ingredients

For white burfi:

1: ricotta cheese 450g

2: full-fat dried milk 1 cup (NIDO)

3: sugar 150g

4: unsalted butter 90g

5: vanilla essences 1tbsp

 

For chocolate burfi:

 1: ricotta cheese 450g

 2: full-fat dried milk 1 cup (NIDO)

 3: sugar 150g

 4: unsalted butter 90g

 5: vanilla essences 1tbsp

 6: cocoa powder 1 tbsp (heaped)

 7: almonds 15 (sliced)

 8: pan greased 

Instructions

  1. CHOCOLATE BURFI

     For white burfi:

     1: in a pan add butter and ricotta cheese mix well and melt them both, keep stirring on medium flame.

     2: once melted add vanilla essences, sugar mix well then add dry milk powder and mix.

     3: then cook on medium flame till the liquid dries.

     4: now spread the mixture in the greased pan.

     5: for chocolate burfi follow the same method.

     6: add sliced almonds, leave to cool.

     7: cut and serve.
