ORANGE CHICKEN

Ingredients

 1: chicken nuggets 1 kg 

 2: orange juice 1 liter

 3: chicken cube 1 (mixed with 1 cup hot water)

 4: powder sugar 3/4 cup

 5: corn flour 2 tbsp (mixed with water)

 6: sesame seeds 1 tsp

 7: bell pepper 1 medium (cut in cubes)

 8: dark soya sauce 1/3 cup

 9: vinegar 1/3 cup

 10: crushed red chilli 1 tbsp

 11: salt 1 tsp

 12: black pepper powder 1 tsp

 13: fresh ginger 1/2 inch (julienne)

 14: fresh garlic 3 pieces (grated or crushed)

 16: spring onions 1 (chopped)

Instructions

  1. ORANGE CHICKEN

    1: in a pan add the orange juice, chicken stock, ginger, garlic, black pepper powder, salt, crushed red chilli, vinegar,  soya sauce, powder sugar mix well.

     2: now place the pot on the stove and wait for a boil on high flame, then cook on low to medium flame covered for 4 to 5  minutes.

     3: then mix corn flour with a little water and add it to the orange mixture, keep stirring so that there are no lumps, and cook till gets thick on high flame.

     4: now add the bell pepper, spring onion, and nuggets mix cover, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.

     5: garnish it with sesame seeds and a little spring onion.

     6: Served hot with Chinese rice.
