ALOO TIKKI CHAAT

Ingredients

1: potatoes 1 kg (peeled, boiled & mashed)

 2: split chick peas 1 cup (boiled with salt 1/2 tsp & mashed)

 3: corn flour 4 tbsp

 4: fresh coriander 1/4 cup

 5: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 6: green chilli 3 (finely chopped)

 7: crushed red chilli 1 tbsp

 8: chaat masala powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 9: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 10: corn flour 3 tbsp (for coating)

 11: oil 4 to 5 tbsp for frying

 

 For Serving:

 

 1: onion 1 large (finely chopped)

 2: thick greek yogurt 2 cups (mixed with sugar 1 tbsp & salt 1/2 tsp)

 3: khajoor (date) ki chutney as much you want (check link on the video)

 4: podenay (Mint) ki chutney as much you want (check link on the video)

 5: sev 4 tbsp

 6: chaat masala 1 tbsp

 7: fresh coriander 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. ALOO TIKKI CHAAT

     1: mix well potatoes with corn flour, fresh coriander, green chili, garam masala powder, crushed red chili, chaat masala powder, and salt.

     2: Grease your palm slightly and take the potato mix, make a flat patty fill it with mashed chickpeas, seal well & again flatten the mixture.

     3: roll it in the corn flour.

     4: heat a flat pan with oil, place the tikki, and fry till gets golden on both sides.

     To Serve:

     1: Place the tikki then yogurt, date chutney, mint chutney, onions, sev, coriander, and chaat masala.

     2: serve and enjoy.
