BALTI GOSHT

Ingredients

 

 

1: mutton 1 kg

2: tomatoes 5 medium (finely chopped)

3: coriander seeds 1&1/2 tbs

4: cumin seeds 1&1/2 tbs

5: green chilli 4 (chopped)

6: ginger&garlic paste 1 tbs (heaped)

7: salt 1 tsp

8: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

9: red chilli powder 1 tsp

10:turmeric 1/2 tsp

11:oil 1/2 cup

12:fresh coriander hand full

 

 

Instructions

  1. BALTI GOSHT

     

     

    1: dry roast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds till changes colour, then crush it keep aside.

    2: heat oil in a pot add the meat and fry for 10 minutes on high flame.

    3: then add salt, red chilli, black pepper, turmeric, green chilli mix and cook for further 10 minutes on high flame.

    4: now add the tomatoes and 1 glass of water mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium till the oil comes on the surface and the meat is cooked completely.

    5: then add the fresh coriander and the dry roasted and crushed spices mix well and cook on high flame for 1 minute.

    6: serve hot with naan or roti.
