Ingredients

Marinate:

1: chicken breast 2 (thin strips)
 
2: prawns 1 cup
 
3: salt 3/4 tsp
 
4: corn flour 1 tsp
 
5: white pepper powder 1 tsp
 
6: soya sauce 1 tbs
 
 
 
Serve With:
 
1: egg noodles 1&1/2 packet (boiled and drained)
 
2: eggs 3 (or as many liked)
 
3: bell pepper 1 sliced (any color)
 
4: cabbage 1 cup (finely sliced)
 
5: carrot 1 (peeled and finely sliced)
 
6: onion 1 medium (peeled and finely sliced)
 
 
 
Sauce:
 
1: tomato ketchup 8 tbs
 
2: sweet chili garlic sauce 4 tbs
 
3: corn flour 1 tbs
 
4: white pepper powder 1 tsp
 
5: salt 1/2 tsp
 
6: Vinger 2 tbs
 
7: sugar 1 tbs
 
8: soya sauce 1 tbs
 
9: garlic paste 1 tbs
 
10: water 1 cup
 
11: oil 3 tbs
 

Instructions

  1. AMERICAN CHOP SUEY

    1: in a bowl add the chicken, prawns, soya sauce, white pepper, salt, corn flour mix well.

    2: heat oil in a pan add the garlic paste and fry till light golden on high flame.
     
    3: add the marinated chicken and prawn and fry till golden and oil comes on the surface on high flame.
     
    4: now add the ketchup, chilli garlic sauce, salt, soya sauce, white pepper, vinegar, sugar, water 1/2 cup mix and cook on high flame till gets thick.
     
    5: now add the vegetables mix, water 1/2 cup, then make the paste with corn flour and a little water and add that to, this will make the sauce thick (cook on medium flame till gets little thick& turn off the flame keep aside.
                     
    (YOU CAN MAKE SAUCE THICK ON THIN AS YOU LIKE)
     
     
    Noodles:
     
    1: boil and drain the noodles (when adding the noodles to boil DO NOT BREAK THEM).
     
    2: heat oil in a large pot and add a hand full of noodles & fry till crisp and light golden on both sides.
     
    3: keep the fried noodles on paper towel to drain extras oil.
     
    4: fry eggs to serve.
     
     
    Serving:
     
    1: place the fried noodles on a plate with topping the chicken & veg mix, fried egg serve hot.
