SHAHI GOSHT

Ingredients

 

 

1: meat 1 kg (mutton)

2: onion 2 medium (finely chopped)
 
3: tomato puree 1 cup
 
4: yogurt 1 cup
 
5: kewra water 2 tbs
 
6: green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
 
7: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
 
8: red chilli powder 1 tsp (levelled)
 
9: salt 1 tsp
 
10:mace 1/4 tsp
 
11:nutmeg 1/4 tsp
 
12:ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs
 
13:full fat milk powder 1/2 cup
 
14:cream 1/2 cup
 
15:oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. SHAHI GOSHT

     

    1: marinate the meat with salt, red chilli, ginger & garlic, tomato puree, yogurt mix well cover and keep for 30 minutes.

    2: heat oil and add the onions fry till gets golden, then add meat with the marination add water 2 large glass mix wait for a boil.
     
    3: then cover and cook on low to medium till the meat is cooked and water dries.
     
    4: now flame on high add milk powder and cook for 5 to 7 minutes keep stirring.
     
    5: then add cream, garam masala, nutmeg, mace, green cardamom powder, mix well cover and simmer for 5 minutes on low flame.
     
    6: add the kewra water mix.
     
    7: serve hot with little garam masala for garnishing.
