ALOO KI BHUJIA

Ingredients

 

 

1: potatoes 8 to 9 large (thick sliced)

2: onions 2 medium (sliced)
 
3: ginger & garlic paste 1&1/2 tbs
 
4: tomatoes 3 medium (chopped)
 
5: turmeric 1/2 tsp
 
6: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
 
7: red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)
 
8: dried fenugreek leaves 3 tbs
 
9: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp
 
10:kalonji 1 tsp (Nigella seeds)
 
11:oil 1/2 cup
 
12: water 1 to 2 glasses

Instructions

  1. ALOO KI BHUJIA

     

     

    1: heat oil in a pan add the

     

     

    1: heat oil in a pan add the onions, ginger & garlic paste fry till golden on high flame.

    2: add the cumin seeds, kalonji, dried fenugreek leaves, tomatoes, salt, turmeric, red chilli mix well and cook till the oil comes on the surface.
     
    3: now add the potatoes, water mix and cover and cook on medium flame till the potatoes are cooked and the water dries.
     
    4: garnish with few green chilli.
                           
    5: serve hot.
