AALO KEEMA (MINCE)

Ingredients

 

 

1: Mince (Frozen) 1kilo

2: Potatoes (4 to 5) pealed and thick cubed 
 
3: Tomatoes 2 medium sized (Chopped)
 
4: Onion 1 large 
 
5: Ginger and garlic paste 1 1/2 tbsp 
 
6: Red chilli powder 1tsp
 
7: Cumin seeds 1tsp
 
8: Black peppercorns 15 to 20 
 
9: Cinnamon sticks 2 inch piece
 
10: Black cardamon 4 
 
11: Salt 2tsp
 
12: Turmeric 1/2 tsp
 
13: All spices (garam masala) 1tbsp 
 
14: Water 4 glasses

Instructions

  1. AALO KEEMA (MINCE)

     

    1: In a pan, add the mince, tomatoes, onions and ginger and garlic paste, all the spices listed above and 4 glasses of water. Let it boil.

     
    2: Once the water boils, scrape the mince with a spoon so that the frozen mince starts to break and cooks equally. 
     
    3: When more than half of the water in the pan dries up, add the drained potatoes and let it cook till all the water dries up now. Cook on high flame throughout. 
     
    4: Once all water is dried, add 2 to 3 tbsp of oil and mix it well. Add fresh coriander, a few green chilies and 1tbsp of all spices (garam masala). Mix and cook for 5 minute.
